Time Flies and Babies Grow Up...in the blink of an eye!

It's hard to believe Baby Boston is now eight weeks old! It seems that at this point, people stop counting by weeks and start referring to age in months. Even though some days seem to drag by, for the most part, it has flown by and he is growing like a weed, right before our eyes. In fact, I didn't realize just how big Benz was until his baby brother came along; next to Boston, Benz looks like a giant! Boston starting smiling back at us on August 7th! He is too cute and even tries to laugh when someone is making googly eyes or sweet noises to him. Grandma M. is famous for this and she even asked him the other day for anyone who wanted to go on the picnic with us to raise their hand and he did! It was too funny. And the question everyone asks me is....HOW IS HE SLEEPING?? And the results are in....WONDERFUL!!! Before we left for New Orleans, it was pretty rough, with him waking up every 2-3 hours but since we came down here, the majority of nights have been peaceful. He has been going down in the bassinet around 10:30pm and waking up to nurse around 5am! Then he'll go back down at 6am and sleep until around 8:30 or 9! It's such a blessing and I feel so lucky not to have history repeating itself. He does seem to spit up after almost every meal, but I'm sure that will get better with time. And he's no longer really crying when he gets bathed or has his diaper changed. Now there are still a few nights sprinkled in that aren't so great, but that's to be expected. He is such a doll and we are so blessed to have had him join our family.
